Construction completed 2008
340 On the Park is a residential tower in the Lakeshore East development of the East Loop neighborhood. The architectural firm Solomon Cordwell Buenz designed the tower to line up next to Randolph Street, allowing for unobstructed views of Millennium Park, Grant Park and Lake Michigan. 340 On the Park was built as the first ecologically-friendly high rise in the midwest, receiving accolades for its “green” design. Homes feature spacious floor plans, energy efficient touches and bamboo flooring. Owners amenities include a large winter garden and access to the subterranean Chicago Pedway system.
